He enjoyed dogs, college football, and his ball boards, He was loved and will be greatly missed. Powell, Tennessee Dovie Kathleen Emge Patterson 1925 — 2024 Dovie Patterson (Nee Emge), age 99, passed away on May 15, 2024. During WWII and after, she worked at the Y-12 and X-10 plants in Oak Ridge. After retiring in Oak Ridge, she moved to Gatlinburg where she continued to work at Beville Reagan Enterprises, and was active in her church. She began hiking the Smoky Mountains in her 60s and continued to do so until she was in her 80s - including after she had a knee replacement. She was a greeter at her church, Roaring Fork Baptist, in Gatlinburg, where she met and made many friendships which lasted decades.
