I am new to the area and this is the closest nail salon to my home so I figured I’d give it a try. I went in for a pedicure. The massage chair didn’t work, and the lady who did my nails wasn’t friendly at all. Then when she was finished she just walked away, I asked where I should go to dry and the guy who works there said “we don’t have dryers, we took them out during covid” so I asked him “do I just sit here?” Then a nail technician snapped at me “JUST SIT THERE AND DRY, We’ll give you oil if you want it” so so nasty and rude! They could at least have small fans to dry their Clients nails! I had to sit there for 20 minutes, then walk around and ask for oil, no saran wrap either to wrap your toes so they dont smudge.They did do a good job but I’ll take my business elsewhere next time.

Went here today for the first time for an acrylic set, and Tao did my nails. I am 45 years old and in my entire life I have never had my nails done so perfectly. She cut them exactly as short as I wanted, perfectly shaped and we had a great conversation. Highly recommend this salon.

While Newtown Nails is not an overwhelmingly friendly environment, it’s very comfortable and clean. At the end of the day, I’m paying for a service & they do a great job. I’ve never had an issue with prices changing. (Gel manicures, pedicures).

I frequent this salon regularly and really appreciate the service and friendliness of the staff. I also visit with my 93 year old mother and 96 year old father and the kindness and gentleness they demonstrate is remarkable. We really look forward to this pampering and respite and cannot say enough wonderful things about Newtown Nails and the team of professionals.

My 5 year old daughter and I went here for a gel manicure for me, and a pedicure for my daughter. I understand that it was a busy Saturday, but the experience was extremely rushed and poorly executed. I had to ask the nail technician two times to cut my nails down, and even then she barely filed them. My daughter’s toenails did not get cut at all! Her sandals were covered in nail polish and her entire pedicure lasted 10 minutes. I will not return here.
