“01 19 2013 was surfing lighthouse cove which is the beach south of Coos jetty. I was in water about one hour on the inside when I encountered a 6 to 9 ft white shark thrashing about on the inside appears to be caught on the inside off my right shoulder about 6 ft from me. I immediately scrambled for the next wave of the set which I took in. My buddy saw this go down and was able to get in on the same set. This is my second encounter at this location. Keep one eye always out looking.”
